Naseer Shamma appointed goodwill ambassador of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) established and continues to serve its role in attending and advocating for humanitarian relief and support of human beings across the world, in 2018 the IFRC appointed Naseer Shamma as its Goodwill Ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa during the celebration of the Egyptian Opera House in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent.
He received the title of Goodwill Ambassador of the Red Crescent in recognition and appreciation for his continuous humanitarian efforts and his assistance to the victims of war, sick and needy, as well as his prominent role in Arabic music and preservation of the Arab musical heritage.
